The partners involved into the collaborative ICON-project MOVIQ have completed their 2-year mission to make possible advanced AI for hyperspectral EO on smallsats.
It’s been an exciting journey with Flanders Space, VLAIO, and NextGenerationEU backing the vision and the competitiveness of the following Flanders Space members:
- Magics Technologies creating the rad-hard AI accelerator;
- OIP Space Instruments developing the optical payload with the hyperspectral imaging sensor from imec;
- VITO Remote Sensing advancing EO data analysis and compression with CORSA;
- IDLab (imec – UAntwerpen) optimizing onboard AI models;
- Redwire Space Europe defining the next-generation satellite specification.
